YOURSAY | ‘Abdul Gani did his part for the nation. But not the fourth Tan Sri.’
Dr M: There were four Tan Sri, one could have betrayed others
Mushiro: This fourth Tan Sri betrayed the country. There is a limit to protecting the PM but when the PM crossed the line and betrayed the people and country, then it is time to bring him down.
Abdul Gani Patail, the former attorney-general (AG), stayed with the PM through the thick and thin but when PM Najib Abdul Razak was allegedly intoxicated with money, he decided to act.
Abdul Gani did his part for the nation. But not the fourth Tan Sri.
Oscar Kilo: Well, you don't need a PhD to figure out who the fourth Tan Sri is.
FellowMalaysian: For the sake of some vacuous and clueless dimwits who were trying to figure out who among the four Tan Sri was the culprit, former PM Dr Mahathir Mohamad had given enough clues.
Will the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) now take this up and investigate it?
Anonymous 122461436161429: If I may say, all the four Tan Sri did not do their job well, nor did they uphold public trust.
One Tan Sri cannot claim being clueless of the billions moving in and out of the country. Another Tan Sri should have gone public with the proposed charge and how he was stopped from executing it.
Yet another Tan Sri could have gone public with the findings of the investigate body, and the final Tan Sri could have arrested the alleged crooks.
All preferred to retire, remain silent, resign, and do nothing. All deserve contempt.
Dr Suresh Kumar: Indeed, the fact is that all the so-called Tan Sri are betraying the rakyat, particularly the poor and the marginalised who have to face the brunt of the lies and cockamamie schemes of the despots who cause them to suffer in perpetual poverty.
Do you care for them, Mahathir? And do Malaysians care, particularly the self-righteous, clueless, unsympathetic racist keyboard warriors?
Angel: IGP, please tweet to Malaysians that you are not the one.
Legit: This is a strange land of idiots. When one mentions MO1 (Malaysian Official 1), it is crystal clear who the culprit is. When one mentions the fourth Tan Sri, it is again crystal clear who the person is.
Yet nobody can say his name, for he or she could be arrested. In any other country, the people have no time to play around with such stupidity and by now these men will be sitting in their dungeons.
Anonymous #66797900: Yes, no one dares to speak against the powers-that-be.
Dr M has put the fear of the devil in the Umno leadership with his new party and now he has let loose a cat with a lot of badges, and the boss cat is checking which rats to swallow before they retire the cat, like the other three Tan Sris.
Geng Ustaz lodges police report against Hokkien Associations
Roger 5201: Where is MCA when Hokkien Associations of Malaysia’s (HAM's) constitutional right to freedom of expression and worship are threatened by a gang of ustaz? Is it a case of cannot or dare not fight?
Waktamnoko: Doesn’t HAM realise that by doing so, they are interfering in the Islamic affairs of the country?
BN and Umno are smiling and not even interfering in the issue because they know that with the association's signature campaign, the Malay votes will be firmly in Umno's hands come the next GE.
With the Chinese population expected to shrink further, and it will be less than 10 percent in a few decades, the Chinese will only have themselves to blame if they were to support this stupid campaign.
There are many ways to skin a cat but this confrontational attitude of the association will only backfire on the Chinese minority.
Guyintheglass: How is opposing the passing of a law a crime? This is tantamount to saying that Parliament should not debate it either.
Old Timer: Yes, this gang of ustaz doesn't seem to have read the Malaysian constitution, nor understood it if they had read it.
They behave like a bunch of bullying gangsters. Perhaps the authorities should make sure all ustaz pass a test on our constitution before employing them.
MA: Muslims in Malaysia and rest of the world must wake up to the fact that when someone confronts your religion with valid intellectual questions, please do not brush them off by saying they are interfering and that it’s none of their business.
Please rebut and justify intellectually your stand. In many cases, most Muslims are very ignorant, therefore they take the easy way out by stating, "If you do not know Islam then you should not talk about it."
Hplooi: The good commander (S Thayaparan) is right. “Weaponising Islam” is now being ratchetted up. The rest of the civilised world should take note.
