Umno lawmaker Bung Moktar Radin said today he is an “innocent witness” in an ongoing investigation by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

It is believed that the MACC's probe is related to several unit trust investments made by the Federal Land Consolidation and Rehabilitation Authority (Felcra Berhad), which Bung Moktar chairs.

Sources told Malaysiakini that the probe is being carried out to determine if there were any kickbacks involved in the deal.
