As a responsible leader, Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak should admit the mistakes that he has made, rather than go on pretending that all is well, said his sacked deputy, Muhyiddin Yassin.

"The Umno president is embroiled in a lot of scandals that have reached what I would say are global proportions, this is what every Malaysian is so concerned about.

"You are sitting in that chair, it's your responsibility to safeguard the interests of the nation," was Muhyiddin's message to Najib.
