Dzulkifli Ahmad today begins his term as the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s (MACC) boss.

Arriving promptly at the commission’s headquarters in Putrajaya at 8am, he was welcomed by MACC’s top officials led by deputy commissioner (management and professionalism) Mohd Jamidan Abdullah.

Among the officials present were MACC Security Division officer Alias Salim and MACC Investigation Division director Azam Baki.

Prior to his new appointment as MACC chief commissioner, replacing Abu Kassim Mohamed, Dzulkifli served in the Attorney-General’s Chambers as National Revenue Recovery Enforcement Team director.

Chief secretary to the government Ali Hamsa on Friday announced Dzulkifli’s appointment effective Aug 1, 2016 till July 31, 2021.

Meanwhile, Abu Kassim would be serving in another capacity as Integrity consultant at Universiti Teknologi Mara’s (UiTM ) Law Faculty.
