The Coalition for Clean and Fair Elections (Bersih) cannot hold its Bersih 5 rally if it wants to topple Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar said today.
"We will not allow it because there is way to ask the prime minister to step down as stipulated in the law," Khalid said at a press conference in Kuala Lumpur.
"If they ask the prime minister to step down according to the law, then we can accept it," he said.
