Polls reform group Bersih chairperson Maria Chin Abdullah has confirmed that a rally is on the cards, following recent developments in the United States concerning 1MDB.

Maria today was asked whether another rally is being planned following lawsuits filed by the US's Department of Justice (DOJ) to seize assets bought with funds allegedly siphoned from 1MDB.

She agreed that now was an apt time for another rally but said the election watchdog group was in the process of discussion.
