PAS will continue its political collaboration with PKR, abiding by a decision that was made in last year’s muktamar, Mustafa Ali said today.

The Islamic party’s election director clarified that this collaboration would continue until the 14th general election (GE14).

“Yes, the relationship with PKR is still continuing. Although it has happened (proposal to break off ties), it’s not a problem. (This will) remain (until the general election) because this was the last muktamar’s decision.

“Until now, there is no reverse decision. So we continue to remain with PKR,” he said when reporters asked if this collaboration will continue until the next general election.

Mustafa was speaking to reporters after the 62nd annual PAS muktamar in Kota Baru.

Two days ago, the PAS Muslimat wing had brought up a motion calling for the syura council to consider breaking off ties with PKR.
