The fifth body recovered from the helicopter crash in Sarawak is that of Kuala Kangsar MP Wan Mohammad Khair-il Anuar Wan Ahmad.
It was found by the marine police and brought to the search and rescue centre at the Lingga jetty at about 6.50pm, Utusan Malaysia reported.
The discovery leaves only one more from the ill-fated flight which has yet to be found.
Earlier, Sarawak police commissioner Muhammad Sabtu Osman has confirmed the third body found near the site of the debris from the crashed helicopter is that of Ahmad Sobri Harun, bodyguard to Sungai Besar MP Noriah Kasnon.
Muhammad Sabtu told a press conference in Kuching that the identification was done based on the police authorisation card found on his body.
He also said that the fourth body, whose identity has yet to be identified, was found at 3.26pm and flown to the police contingent headquarters.
It was also reported that an unidentified fifth body was found at Lingga at 6.47pm.
Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak has confirmed the second body found near the site of debris from the crashed helicopter is that of Plantation Industries and Commodities Ministry secretary-general Sundaran Annamalai, according to media reports.
"This was based on fingerprint analysis by the police as well as from personal effects found with the body," Najib was reported telling the media at the Kuching Hospital.
He also said the third body recovered was still undergoing post-mortem and has yet to be identified.
Najib and his deputy Ahmad Zahid Hamidi were present at the hospital's morgue earlier when the bodies were brought in for examination, after they were recovered by search and rescue teams.
Meanwhile, talking to reporters in Sri Aman, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Shahidan Kassim said the third body recovered from the crashed helicopter was found fully clothed, complete with identification documents.
The body was found floating in the Batang Lupar River just after noon today, not far from where the body of the Plantation Industries and Commodities Deputy Minister Noriah Kasnon was found earlier.
"Let the police disclose the identity of the body," he said at a press conference earlier today.
The helicopter bound for Kuching carrying Noriah, Sundaran, Ahmad Sobri and three others, including the pilot, went off the radar minutes after leaving Betong on Thursday, and was declared missing.
Search and rescue operations, which commenced yesterday, found debris from the aircraft wreckage, and to date four bodies have been recovered.
Two other passengers are still missing
