Sarawak Chief Minister Adenan Satem did not shy from raining praises for Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak during Najib’s visit to Sarawak today.

In the eyes of the CM, Najib is such a great national leader that he should be PM of Malaysia “until the end of the world”.

“He so loves Sarawak, is concerned about us that we too love him and hope that he can be PM until the end of the world,” Adenan is reported as saying by Astro Awani.

Adenan said since appointed PM, Najib has visited the Borneo state 46 times and is likely to continue this track record with many visits scheduled ahead.

He said this at the launch of the Serian-Simpang Pantu connection of the Pan-Borneo Highway today.

He also lauded the PM for ensuring the project continues despite Malaysia’s economic woes following a plunge in oil prices and currency fluctuations.

“Where else can we find a prime minister like Najib? One PM served for 22 years and yet could not match Najib’s record as far as the number of visits to Sarawak,” he said.

Fourth PM Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who is now on a mission to unseat Najib, resigned after serving as PM for 22 years.

Najib is on a three-day visit to Sarawak, ahead of the Sarawak election which must be called by June.
