Pagoh Umno division deputy chief Ismail Mohamed said he believes that future generations will punish the party's supreme council for its actions, which are destroying the Malay party.

He said this as the council looks set to go ahead with its plan to haul up deputy president Muhyiddin Yassin before the disciplinary board with the view to suspending him.

Muhyiddin and another former minister were purged from the government along with several menteris besar and grassroots leaders for being critical of the party leadership.
