The call by the Conference of Rulers for the government to revise the National Security Council (NSC) Bill will not stop the much-criticised Bill from being gazetted into law, says lawyer Syahredzan Johan.
The Federal Constitution states that a bill will be deemed as having received royal assent 30 days after it is presented to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, whether or not the Agong consents to it, he said.
