PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang has accused DAP of being supportive of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA) as trade in the country is purportedly controlled by the Chinese community.
He also lumped DAP together with Chinese-majority Singapore.
"Our contractors will need to compete with their (TPP members) contractors who have more advanced equipment, experience and capability. We will lose when we fight them.
"There will also be open tender which is why DAP and Singapore are in favour because the Chinese control trade in Malaysia.
"It is the bumiputera community that will suffer from this TPPA," he said in a video, a pre-rally message posted on PAS' Facebook page.
PAS, together with other political parties and NGOs, will be converging in Kuala Lumpur later today to protest the TPPA which will be voted on in Parliament at the end of this month.
PSM, which has pledged to mobilise for the rally, has also criticised Pakatan Harapan and in particular DAP for its apparent lack of public commitment to move its members in support of the protest.
Abdul Hadi urged members to mobilise and participate in the rally.
Elaborating on the dangers of the TPPA, Abdul Hadi said Malaysian farmers on average only plant a quarter acre of corn.
However, he said the US can plant up to 100,000 acres, thus making it difficult for Malaysians to compete.
He likened Malaysia to a small country in the ocean and the TPPA is akin to removing the borders which will cause flood water to drown the country.
"We are also a small country and if we violate the (trade) laws the US can take us to court.
"But the US is a big country, will we be able to take them to court? They can do anything they want," he said.
