Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, who is currently in Saudi Arabia for a three-day working visit, is scheduled to meet with Malaysian students and professionals in Jeddah and Makkah today.
According to the Facebook page of the Prime Minister’s Office, after the meeting, the prime minister is scheduled to perform the Umrah after the Maghrib prayers tonight.
“The prime minister will leave for Madinah tomorrow. Besides visiting the Prophet’s Mosque, he will also attend a luncheon with Malaysian students and professionals at the Holiday Villa Hotel Madinah,” it said.
While in Madinah, the prime minister is also scheduled to visit the Knowledge Economic City and the Dar Al Madinah Urban and Built Heritage Museum.
Najib, who arrived in Jeddah yesterday, was welcomed by the Governor of Jeddah Prince Mish’al Abd Majid, Malaysian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Zainol Rahim Zainuddin, and other senior officials of the Malaysian government.
