Pahang Menteri Besar Adnan Yaakob has been urged to let the federal government deal with Kuantan's bauxite problem, after he himself failed to announce any measures by year-end.

Kuantan MP Fuziah Salleh said this would be for the good of the people.

"I can see that he (Adnan) has great challenges which he has difficulty overcoming, and that is why he is not able to announce a date for a moratorium (on bauxite exports).
