PAS supporters wing chief N Balasubramaniam claims that PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang told him that the Islamic party has no intention of cooperating with Umno.

This comes on the heels of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's speech to the Umno annual general meeting (AGM) last week, during which he offered an olive branch to PAS.

"I have confirmed with the president (that there will be no political cooperation with Umno)," Balasubramaniam told a press conference in Kuala Lumpur today.
