Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak should be detained under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act (Sosma) for undermining democracy, former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad said today.

"Khairuddin Abu Hassan was arrested, detained under Sosma (for lodging police reports on 1MDB).
