Former Umno leader Khairuddin Abu Hassan has been remanded by police for six days in connection with the 1MDB scandal.

His lead counsel Stanley Augustin said the remand until Hari Raya Aidiladha was granted by Magistrate Ashraf Rezal Abdul Manan.
