The Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) today finally succeeded in delivering a bill of RM65,000 to Bersih for cleaning services after the mammoth Bersih 4 rally on Aug 29 and Aug 30.
DBKL officers delivered the bill to the wrong address last week, inviting scorn from the public.
"Finally, they found the place," Bersih tweeted.
"We are being billed when in fact we cleaned up the streets of Kuala Lumpur," it added.
The bill was received by Bersih chairperson Maria Chin Abdullah at its office in Petaling Jaya.

Earlier today, Bersih hung up a Bersih 4 banner and several other signs indicating that the building in the residential area is the election watchdog's office.
Maria photo of the sign on Facebook, and apologised for the lack of a red carpet to welcome to welcome Urban Wellbeing, Housing, and Local Government Minister Abdul Rahman Dahlan.
Bersih secretariat members also cheekily took to social media to alert Abdul Rahman of their lunch breaks just in case DBKL officers show up when no one is around.
"Datuk, I will be going for lunch at 1pm. Please come early ya. Cooperation from your side is appreciated," secretariat member Mandeep Singh tweeted.
His colleague Zoe Rhandawa went as far as telling Abdul Rahman where they were going for lunch, if the officers cannot wait for them to return.
"I'm going for lunch at the mamak (restaurant) behind Bersih's (office). If your officers have any problems entering the office, it's all Mandeep's fault," she quipped.
The sign was a response to a series of tweets by Rahman ridiculing the "unclean" state of the Bersih headquarters when DBKL officers attempted to deliver a clean-up bill of RM65,000 last week.
However, Bersih activists were quick to point out that the officers went to the wrong place, instead and that the picture Rahman uploaded was of the house next door.
Rahman responded by saying that Bersih should have put up a big signage to make itself easily identifiable.
He also said that the clean-up bill would eventually be delivered to Maria.
However, Maria has said Bersih would not pay the RM65,000, and would challenge the DBKL invoice in court.
