Kuala Langat Umno Youth division and 10 non-governmental organisations (NGOs) have lodged police reports against Bersih 4 rally organisers over the stomping of posters of the country's leaders.

Kuala Langat Umno Youth division chief Jefrizal Mohd Jaafar said 11 police reports were lodged so that police investigate and take action against them.

"Police have to take firm action against the organisers for failing to stop the Bersih participants from committing seditious acts," he told reporters after lodging a police report at Kuala Langat police headquarters in Banting today.

They want police to investigate the stomping of posters depicting the images of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang.

"Their action is extreme provocation that can arouse anger among members of two political parties," Jefrizal added.

Among the NGOs who lodged police reports were 4B Youth Movement, Perkasa, Malaysian Malay Traders and Entrepreneurs Association (Perdasama), and Persatuan Seni Silat Gayong Maarifat.
