PAS today expressed disappointment over the behaviour of some participants of the Bersih 4 rally over the weekend who had allegedly stomped on pictures of party president Abdul Hadi Awang.
PAS vice-president Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah said such an act was deplorable because it was tantamount to insulting Abdul Hadi.
“If it was true that the incident had happened (according to pictures that went viral on social media), it is something regrettable. It is not right to stomp on the pictures of any leader, not just PAS leaders,” he told reporters after attending the National Day 2015 celebration in Bachok.
Mohd Amar, who is the Kelantan deputy menteri besar, was commenting on the alleged stomping on pictures of Abdul Hadi and Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak by some Bersih 4 participants.
