Umno Youth today said they still respected Muhyiddin Yassin as the Umno deputy president following a motion to nominate the current deputy prime minister and party vice-president Ahmad Zahid Hadmidi for the post at the next Umno elections.

Wing chief Khairy Jamaluddin said Umno Youth still respected Muhyiddin position as the party deputy president despite him being dropped as deputy prime minister last month.
