YOURSAY ‘Story after story, spin after spin, will the truth ever emerge?’
Arrest Rahman Dahlan, Kit Siang tells IGP
Oxymoronictendencies: No doubt BN strategic communications director Abdul Rahman Dahlan's next statement will be to deny what was published, and to claim he had been misquoted.
Perhaps The Star will have its licence suspended for publishing "false news" and misquoting a minister.
Or is this part of a wider subterranean plot from within Umno and the government itself to force PM Najib Abdul Razak to resign?
Either way, the days for Abdul Rahman are surely numbered. Not that he will be any great loss. He has yet to make a single positive contribution since his elevation to BN strategic communications director.
Can’t they ensure that the unfolding story doesn't contradict itself?
The old adage still holds true. It is best not to tell a lie, as one lie leads to another lie, and then another lie.
Tok Karut: The spin is doing the scoundrels in Putrajaya in. They are caught in the web of lies they have spun for themselves.
JusticeNow!: They are creating story after story to distract public attention from 1MDB. The SRC International’s RM42 million transfer into the PM’s personal bank account has gone under the radar.
This is outright breach of trust that will stick in any court. This alone is more than enough for Najib to be arrested and prosecuted.
Putrajaya's script is getting more bizarre by the day because there is undeniable evidence.
Shamu99: When you try to spin too much, the law of gravity will bring you down. What charge sheet? I thought there was none.
Haveagreatday: Good one, DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang. For a moment, I thought you have lost your political acumen with some of your suggestions recently.
Joe Lee: Abdul Rahman was indeed trying to spin some more cock and bull stories. Inspector-general of police (IGP) Khalid Abu Bakar will not do anything, but maybe warn Kit Siang 'don't play play'.
Another day in the land of make-believe.
Og Ya?: Abdul Rahman was very blunt in that the PM and the ruling elite are above the law. Even if they have obstructed justice and interfered in the investigations, so what?
Chokstone: This man fabricates story after story for temporary relief and then looks for a way out for his master. Even small children know the lies.
How can they rule the land when people no longer trust them?
1malaysia2perak3katak: Nothing will be done by IGP. They might come after you instead, Kit Siang.
Zahid's plot talk fails to convince Rafidah
Bamboo: I guess former minister Rafidah Aziz can’t stand the low calibre cabinet spewing nonsensical statements and embarrassing the whole country.
She talks more sense than any of the current crop of ministers. No wonder investors are abandoning Malaysia in droves, seeing the country sinking under the burden of massive corruption and the incompetency of the government.
Anonymous #523894157: The word "toppled" has been misused by Umno propaganda mouthpieces like Abdul Rahman and others, over and over.
In good English, it’s "change". Like you change your shirt daily. If it's dirty, just change it. That's all to it.
Don't get excited about it unless someone’s trying to cover up something, or diverting public's attention.
Airplayer: Fix the root of the problem. The premier is that root. The RM2.6 billion man. The rakyat will vote with RM2.6 billion in mind. Mark my words.
Karma: Umno has already forgotten the Perak coup which was hatched by Najib. When the opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim trying to 'topple' BN with some 32 MPs crossing over in 2008, PM Najib said it was "immoral".
When he did the Perak coup with similar crossover a few months later, he said he followed the law.
This is our beloved PM - right or wrong, he decides. For others, donation is corruption. For him, a 'thank you' angpow for combating IS (Islamic State).
Anonymous_1419577444: Simple, they create a problem out of nothing and then start implicating their enemies. That's what these people have been doing all this while.
