Prime Minister Najib Razak has dismissed allegations that the National Civics Bureau (BTN) advocates Malay supremacy and racism.
"It's very much a lie," he said when met at the Aidilfitri open house at Seri Perdana, the prime minister's official residence in Putrajaya today.
Najib was asked to comment on the allegations which were made in slides uploaded onto BTN’s website in March but taken down last week after it was widely circulated in social media.
Last month, Noor Farida Ariffin who is the coordinator for the group of 25 prominent Malays said the bureau should be revamped as it is undermining multiculturalism in the country.
