Police arrested Wan Muhammad Azri Wan Deris, who operates the blog "Papa Gomo", under the Sedition Act late last night.

Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar today confirmed the blogger's arrest with Malaysiakini .

Wan Muhammad Azri's arrest is in relation to spreading false news related to the brawls that had occurred at Low Yat Plaza in Bukit Bintang over the weekend.
