RPK: Anwar unfit to be PM, 'may be' gay
Not Confused: I did have some respect for blogger RPK (Raja Petra Kamarudin), but that has now completely dissipated.
Since when did someone's sexuality affect his/her abilities to be a PM? To think that is narrow-minded and hypocritical nonsense.
Why is Malaysia so different from other countries where openly homosexuals hold high office with no problems? Oh, I forgot it's only in Malaysia where the rakyat, particularly the Muslims amongst us, are so easily confused and hurt - poor things.
From what I have seen and heard of Anwar Ibrahim, he is not a perfect leader, who is? But he is streets ahead when compared with the brainless idiots currently running the country.
In any case, PKR is not Anwar - even if he is jailed on Jan 9, the opposition will continue to thrive and will end up in Putrajaya.
Anak JB: RPK sold news and also friends. His ego is getting the better of him and he is definitely using the Umno media to run the opposition and Anwar down.
He timed it to perfection during the Sarawak election and this time it is timed in conjunction with the upcoming GE13. The way he spoke was as if he was in the same bedroom when the incidents happened.
I have followed the sodomy trial and how ‘Datuk T' tried to run Anwar down but have not found any iota of evidence that can support them, yet RPK chose to believe the spinners.
By the way, I have stopped reading RPK's sensationalised news since the Sarawak election.
Swipenter: Pakatan Rakyat is bigger than one man. Perhaps RPK's ego is bigger than Pakatan's. He thinks that he could do no wrong or his opinions are better than anyone else.
Whether Anwar becomes PM or not is secondary to the birth of a two-party system where there is check and balance in the administration of the country.
This we have achieved, and the Malaysian public is the new check and balance mechanism, not any one personality or politician(s).
Thinking: RPK, I still believe Anwar is still the best person to lead Pakatan and unite the opposition, what with DAP and PAS on both extreme ends of the spectrum.
What you are doing now is not helping Pakatan but damaging it. All your effort and words regarding ABU (Anything but Umno) now goes to the drain.
MMMMMMM: RPK, you are no more a principled man. I really respected you very much once, but now I have zero respect for you. How much have you taken from BN? We are not stupid, RPK.
Faz: RPK, who are you to be judge and jury of DSAI (Anwar) unless you have elevated yourself to a holier than thou position? I do not blame the netizens here who are very suspicious of this turn of events. You reap what you sow.
Botak Chin: RPK, I used to have a high regard for you, but from today onwards no more. I view you the same way I view former PKR leaders Ezam Mohd Nor and Chandra Muzaffar. I am no longer going to read your blog.
Whatever you might say, my vote is for Pakatan. Did Najib promise you a hero's welcome back to Bolehland?
Md Imraz Muhammed Ikhbal: The decision on Anwar's case has not even been delivered and he is deemed unfit to be PM already?
Indeed, it is possible that Anwar may be gay, but to date there isn't even a shred of evidence to substantiate that notion. As a matter of fact, every assertion of his sexual perversion gives rise to glaring suspicions of political conspiracy.
So can RPK justify his assertion on how is it that Anwar is unfit to be PM? Who is to decide?
It was just an hour ago that I read in his blog about an alleged political conspiracy within PKR - the culprits purportedly being Azmin Ali and Zuraida Kamaruddin - with RPK calling for their immediate removal from the party. Again, his assertions were without the slightest shred of evidence.
I am beginning to see an ugly pattern here and I may perhaps be able to finally understand why he deliberately failed to turn up in court to account for his allegations against PM Najib Razak and his wife, Rosmah Mansor.
KSD: I can see what RPK's strategy is. Bring Anwar down and hope the rest of the opposition and the third force is still strong enough to cause serious damage to BN so that Najib faces an internal revolt.
Before you know it, there would be enough lawmakers from both the Peninsula and very importantly Sabah and Sarawak to converge around Ku Li (Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah) and we will have a ‘unity' government.
Zaid Ibrahim will be part of the deal. There will certainly be space for Nurul Izzah Anwar too. You heard it here first. That's why you and I are not in politics.
Kgen: RPK is feeling homesick. He just wants to come home without going straight behind bars. In the end, he sold out his principles. He may as well close down his blog after this attack because nobody will want to read his blog.
Jedi_Who: Raja Petra was somebody who spoke for change and a better Malaysia where all races were deemed Malaysian. He once took a tough stand against Umno and they broke him morally, spiritually and financially.
Now he is instructed to do what Umno wants based on a deal he had struck with the ruling party. The Pakatan cause is for change and though there are a lot of bad elements in Pakatan itself, change must start somewhere.
It must start with the end of Umno and BN. That is why it is so dissapointing to see somebody like Raja Petra selling the nation out.
