The Kuala Lumpur High Court has allowed the defence team in the Anwar Ibrahim's sodomy trial to make its submission on April 25.
Originally, the court had fixed this for Monday.
Justice Mohamad Zabidin Mohd Diah allowed the postponement in a letter dated April 6.
Anwar's lawyer Sankara Nair confirmed the court’s consent to the defence application for an extension of time.
Anwar is charged with sodomising his former aide Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan at the Desa Damansara condominium between 3.15pm and 4pm on June 26, 2008.
The prosecution closed its case after three items - a mineral water bottle, toothbrush and Good Morning towel - were accepted as evidence.
