An incinerator project mentioned in the Kuala Lumpur Draft Structure Plan (KLSP) 2020 is causing distress to the Puchong No-Incinerator pro-tem committee which wants it to be taken out.
The committee is puzzled why the project is included in the draft released on March 10 when the government had already said last Nov 13 that it would relocate the controversial project that was initially slated for the area.
Page 11-7 of the plan mentions City Hall's plan to build a massive 1,500 tonne incinerator - considered the world's biggest of its kind - in Kampung Bohol, Puchong, to solve the problem of solid waste disposal.
