Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad arrived at the home of the Mercedes Benz in Stuttgart, Germany from Moscow yesterday prior to a three-day official visit beginning tomorrow.
The premier was accompanied by his wife Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali.
The couple were met upon arrival at the Stuttgart International Airport by Malaysian ambassador to Germany, Abduk Kadir Mohd Deen and Malaysias Honarary Consul in Germany, Dr Helmut Baur.
A Bernama report today said Mahathir was expected to visit the Mercedes Benz plant owned by Daimler Chrysler at Sindelfingen.
The premier was also scheduled to visit a technology laboratory owned by Voith Siemens in Heidenheim.
Following this, he will leave for Dusseldorf and will begin his official visit tomorrow in Munich.
Yesterday, Mahathir left Russia after ending a three-day official visit. After Germany, the premier will head for Poland, the last leg of his overseas visit.
