LETTER | The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the world profoundly, our work and lives will not be the same. The challenges lying ahead of us are certainly enormous. Nevertheless, the pandemic has also given us a chance to rethink ourselves, society and our surroundings, in order to prepare for post-Covid-19 challenges.
In the aim to promote multiculturalism and ethnic relations, Dong Zong will once again organise an essay writing competition, with this year's theme “Covid-19: Embrace diversity”.
We invite the public to share their precious stories of multiculturalism or cross-cultural experiences, especially during the period of Covid-19.
We thank Selangor exco of local government, public transportation and village development Ng Sze Han for sponsoring the competition.
“Malaysia truly Asia”, our society will have a better future once we acknowledge the existence of diversity in the country. By taking part in it at this memorable juncture of our history, we can together build a resilient and harmonious society, especially at this point in time through embracing diversity and inclusiveness.
All the entries (hardcopy or softcopy) must be submitted before or on Sept 6. All eligible participants will receive a token of appreciation for the participation and selected entrants will receive a cash prize and those essays will be published in online media.
