LETTER | PSM - a party not to be underestimated

LETTER | I may be grossly wrong but this write on PSM may not even grab the attention of our local media.

In all likelihood, it may even be run over with a barrage of attacks by cyber troopers.

And of course, many an analyst may even go the distance to prove this letter a fallacy as much as politicians will sneer at the folly of counting on PSM.

But truly PSM is seemingly the only political party that has been walking the talk about service to citizens.

The news reports about this tiny party that are carried by certain media still operating with a clear conscience clearly reveal how PSM has fought hard for the marginalised, downtrodden, exploited communities in the country.

You do not hear or see even a blade of grass stir owing to any corrupt allegation or dealing in and by this political group.

Their leaders and committees live a simple life with none known to be dabbling in mega share trading or operating multi-million dollar privileged businesses through shady proxies.

I have yet to see them driving plush cars, owning luxury yachts, going on belajar sambil cuti extravagant trips or even donning branded suits and showing jaded rings and precious watches.

PSM has truly stood the test of time down the decades in this country's march for an equitable distribution of the country's wealth.

Yes, many have and will continue to write off this party.

Not because PSM is a rotting tuber but more so to protect ill-gotten wealth and illicit agendas of self-enrichment that we see plastered all over the many political parties that shamelessly scream with slogans of democracy, human rights, great governance and what have you.

As the great divide between the elitist and the working class grows; and between the politically connected and ordinary citizens, PSM's presence and relevancy will be the gold standard.

It is time for us to pay attention to this party that has remained faithfully loyal to its principles despite the mountain of obstacles thrown into its political pathway.
