I would like to extend my personal and MIC’s condolences to the family of retired High Court Judge VT Singham.
I know him personally from his student days in London. He was an exemplary judge who devoted his life for the deliverance of justice and he has written many good judgments. He was a good human who was always conscientious to his job and to the society.
He has been philanthropic in his own way where he has donated to many temples and social organisations in our country. He is a extremely religious man, and more than half of his simple apartment was a dedicated prayer hall. He never missed going to the temple any day.
He was a prolific reader and a avid collector of books and literally used to live amongst the books. My deepest condolences to his family and may god bless his soul.
