We wish to state unequivocally that Mohamed Razali Abd Rahman - the former DAP member who is alleging that the party is being supported and financed by Israel - has never held any position in DAP's national headquarters or the Penang headquarters.
Neither was Razali a staff in Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng's office, nor was he a special assistant of the CM in any capacity.
Razali joined DAP in 2008 and was subsequently sacked in 2011, when he accused DAP of a “Christian plot” to take over Putrajaya.
This ridiculous claim - that he was a special assistant to the Penang CM - has been denied many times by Lim and the party. Razali's so-called "position" in the party was completely conjured up by pro-Umno-BN blogs and portals.
We hope that this clarification on Razali's identity and status will be helpful to the media in their reporting of news and that there will be no more misrepresentation of his relationship with DAP or the Penang CM.
