Meet the panelists:

Datuk Shahul Dawood, CE, Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp)

Datuk Shahul Dawood was appointed as the Chief Executive (CE) of HRD Corp on 15 April 2020.

As the CE of HRD Corp, he was responsible for leading the organisation’s transformation agenda. This was marked by HRDF’s successful rebranding to HRD Corp in December 2021 and the biggest expansion of the Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad Act 2001 to date, which now covers employers in 18 sectors and 238 subsectors.

Under his leadership, HRD Corp also introduced a number of new stakeholder-friendly policies that are geared towards strengthening the organisation’s speed, agility and transparency. As someone passionate about digitalisation in the training landscape, he also took HRD Corp through its digital and human capital transformation.

Anthony Raja Devadoss, Managing Director, Korn Ferry Malaysia & PIKOM Academy Chair

Anthony Raja Devadoss is the Managing Director & Senior Client Partner, Malaysia and leads the Executive Search business in Malaysia and part of the Global Technology Markets team for the region Anthony brings over 20 years of experience in cross spectrum of Board Executive Search, HR Business Transformation Consulting, Recruitment Process Outsourcing, Leadership Talent development and Assessment within the region and globally spanning across industries His areas of expertise in Digital Technology, Financial, Healthcare and Business/Professional Services Telecommunications. Anthony is currently the Chair, GBS Malaysia [Digital Global Business Services Council Malaysia] a Global Business Services initiative of PIKOM - The National Tech Association of Malaysia, PIKOM Academy, Chair and WCIT 2022 Chair - Program Speaker.

Nik Naharudin Bin Mohd Nasir, Director, Talent & Capability, MDEC

Nik is currently the Director, Talent & Capability at Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). In this function, his key responsibility is to drive efforts towards meeting current and future needs of Digital Technology talent through synergistic collaborations between academia, industry players and the government. The various initiatives run by MDEC have benefitted current and future talents across schools (K-12), tertiary institutions and existing workforce. He’s also responsible to drive development of talent for Digital Entrepreneurship and High Value Gig Workforce, as well as to drive companies’ competitiveness through capability enhancement. Prior to joining MDEC, Nik was in the telecommunications industry, implementing turn-key projects across Malaysia. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University as well as an MBA from Multimedia University.
