Malaysians have been losing hope.

We're drowning in a sea of Covid-19, economic hardships, and 'leaders' who are fighting each other instead of fighting for us. The only way we will get out of this crisis is if we fight for each other.

We will not give in to hopelessness and despair! We will rise up, join hands, and overcome this struggle together - as a united #BangsaMalaysia #BangkitMembantu!

Projek #BangsaMalaysia is organising a multi-hour fundraising livestream featuring Malaysia's best performers (Altimet!), actors (Bront Palarae!), comedians (Douglas Lim!), sports champions, activists, and civil society leaders.

There will be performances, #RakyatJagaRakyat reports from the ground, and much more!

We want to restore hope, and to remind Malaysians of the strength we have when we unite.

We're aiming to raise RM 3 million. Funds raised will be disbursed to NGOs that are providing basic necessities and aid to communities hit the hardest by the Covid-19 pandemic.
