COMMENT | As part of the journey on pursuing the “Survive to Restart” mission, the reclassification of the Malaysians’ household income is required as the current demarcation is no longer appropriate to promote the economic well-being of the lower-income group.

The current demarcation is misleading to explain the government-targeted policies, as well as to allow the study and comparison of some concrete data on the economic position between and within income classes.
