This Aidilfitri, CARiNG Pharmacy presents Syawal di Hati, Kenangan Abadi, a powerful short film that sheds light on the challenges of co-parenting and its impact on children’s emotional well-being.  Through a heartbreaking yet hopeful narrative, the film explores how conflicts can tear families apart—leaving the children to bear the deepest wounds.

The story follows Angah and Along, two siblings whose world is shattered when their father decides to leave after a heated argument. Amid the chaos, their father pulls Angah away, and the siblings desperately cling to a cherished painting—a treasured reminder of their bond. As Angah is dragged out of the house, the painting rips apart, mirroring their family breaking in two.

Now living with her mother, Along arrives at her grandmother’s house for Aidilfitri, but the emptiness left by her brother lingers. Sitting in the corner of their hometown home, she quietly draws, lost in her thoughts. As her mother weaves ketupat with her grandmother, she glances at Along and notices her sadness. In that moment, the grandmother shares her wisdom: relationships, like ketupat, must be carefully held together—pull too hard, and they break; leave them too loose, and they unravel.

Her mother takes these words to heart, reflecting on past celebrations—the laughter, traditions and the bond her children once shared. Overcome with longing and regret, she makes a heartfelt phone call, carrying unspoken emotions and a desire to rebuild their family, re-opening the door to co-parenting. 

This story is part of a special collaboration with Artjamila, an autistic artist whose artwork symbolizes the deep and complex relationships within a family. The painting in the film not only represents the siblings’ connection but also serves as a powerful metaphor for love, separation, and resilience. In the spirit of this message, CARiNG Pharmacy has collaborated with ARTJAMILA to design exclusive Raya packets, reinforcing the belief that even when relationships are tested, love and care can always reunite hearts.

Through Syawal di Hati, Kenangan Abadi, CARiNG Pharmacy sheds light on the silent suffering of children caught in family conflict. Yet, even in separation, the love between siblings endures, waiting to be healed with understanding, forgiveness, and the courage to reach out.
