The Selangor Accelerator Programme (SAP 2024), a flagship initiative of the Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec), reached its exciting climax today with the announcement of the top 10 winning startups at the Final Demo Day, held during the Selangor Smart City & Digital Economy Convention (SDEC) 2024. The winners, selected from a group of 20 high-potential startups, represent cutting-edge innovations across artificial intelligence (AI), smart mobility, bio-based solutions, and net-zero initiatives.
The top 10 winners of SAP 2024, each receiving prizes that include mentoring, exposure to investors, and access to international expansion opportunities, are as follows:

These winners now join the ranks of over 190 startups that have gone through the SAP program since its inception in 2018. With 41% of past participants securing funding and many gaining international exposure through partnerships and study tours, SAP 2024 is poised to continue its legacy of launching high-potential startups into the global market.
Over the past three to four months, the 20 finalists of SAP 2024 have undergone intensive training through a structured program that included comprehensive workshops, fundraising support, industry visits, and opportunities for international outreach and expansion. Today’s Final Demo Day at SDEC 2024 marks the culmination of their journey, showcasing their groundbreaking solutions to a panel of industry experts, venture capitalists, and leaders from the technology ecosystem.
The SAP 2024, now in its seventh edition, continues to be a cornerstone of Selangor's strategy to drive innovation and economic growth. This year’s cohort of startups have presented revolutionary solutions aimed at solving real-world challenges, from leveraging AI for healthcare to developing sustainable materials that support net-zero emissions goals. Their innovations hold the potential to transform industries and improve the quality of life both locally and globally.

This year’s Demo Day was judged by an esteemed panel of industry leaders and experts who evaluated the startups based on innovation, scalability, and impact. The panel included Fazley Izham Mohamed, Assistant Vice President II of the Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC); Tan Shuh Hun, Account Director for Digital Startups & ISVs, ASEAN at Microsoft ASEAN; Harmender Singh, Vice President of SUPER PMO & Special Projects at Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd (CFSB); Craig Massey, Chief Executive Officer of AI Forge; Subash Aruljoethy, Associate Director at 500 Global; and Chan Kee Siak, Founder and CEO of Exabytes Group. This distinguished group provided invaluable insights and expert evaluations to ensure the best startups were recognized for their groundbreaking work.
YB Ng Sze Han, Selangor State Executive Councillor for Trade and Investment, who delivered the closing remarks at the event, reiterated the state’s commitment to nurturing startups. "The Selangor Government remains steadfast in its support of innovators and entrepreneurs. Through initiatives like SAP, we are building a strong foundation for the digital economy, fostering collaboration between startups, investors, and global leaders to ensure that Selangor remains at the forefront of technological advancement."
