Jack Lim also shared his personal driving experience with the GS3 EMZOOM during the event announcement.

Experience: Durability, Fuel Efficiency, and Affordability

During the event, Jack Lim humorously described himself as a "frequent traveller" working up to 18 hours a day : "I’m always out and about for work, driving long distances across the country. Because of this, I need to service my car every two or three months frequently." Given his lifestyle, Jack Lim has three key requirements for choosing a car: "durability, fuel efficiency, and affordability." He emphasized that he is not particular for the pay of the endorsement deals,  but he must ensure that the products must meet his personal standards. 

"After personally testing the GAC GS3 EMZOOM, I found that it met all my expectations. It has a 1.5L turbo engine paired with a 7DCT (dual-clutch transmission), providing more horsepower compared to similar models. The 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 8 seconds demonstrates its powerful performance while still being fuel-efficient, which really impressed me." Jack Lim also praised GAC for its years of producing high-performance vehicles, emphasizing that the brand's commitment to local assembly offers Malaysians job opportunities and ensures a reliable product.

Jack Lim added that, for him, luxury or fancy appearances aren’t a priority, but practicality and comfort are. "The GS3 EMZOOM combines stylish exterior design and a spacious, flexible interior with features like multi-directional adjustable seats and ample storage space. I spend a lot of time in the car, so comfort is crucial. As my body shape, I still feel very comfortable with the seats. Sometimes my assistant drives, and I can take a quick nap, thanks to how stable and comfortable the ride is." The GS3 EMZOOM: GAC's First Global CKD Project

The GAC GS3 EMZOOM is GAC's first-ever CKD project in an overseas market, symbolizing a significant step towards expanding its global presence. The new-generation GS3 EMZOOM is available in Standard, Exclusive and Premium R variants, which are powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine that develops a maximum of 177PS at 5,500rpm and best-in-class 270Nm of torque, available from 1,400rpm to 4,500rpm. The output is delivered to the front wheels through a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (7WDCT). This efficient powertrain enables a swift 0-100km/h acceleration time of 8.0 seconds while maintaining an average fuel consumption of 5.9 litres per 100km. 

The bold exterior design of the GAC GS3 EMZOOM is further accentuated by the iconic Mecha Wing Grille, Laser Eye Splid LED headlights, and electric hidden door handles that give the vehicle a futuristic and aerodynamic aesthetic. The dynamic front end is matched in the rear by Light Dart tail lights and a sporty Rear Spoiler while 18-inch alloy wheels complete the look across all 3 variants.

Featuring the longest wheelbase in the compact SUV segment at 2,650mm, the GS3 EMZOOM boasts one of the most spacious and comfortable cabins in its class. Drivers are treated to more luxurious touchpoints such as a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel and the signature crystal electronic gear shift. With dimensions of 4410mm in length, 1850mm in width, and 1600mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2650mm, it’s one of the most spacious vehicles in its class.
