Kuala Lumpur, 28 August 2024 — SIRIM QAS International Sdn. Bhd., a leading provider of testing, inspection, and certification services, proudly announces the success of its recent Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event at Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah (PSA) campus. This initiative effectively combined essential support for students with a strong focus on road safety.

As part of the CSR effort, SIRIM QAS International donated RM30,000 in food vouchers to 200 B40 students, each valued at RM150, to alleviate financial burdens. Additionally, 200 helmets were distributed to promote road safety among PSA students.

Syed Faddly bin Syed Bahrudin, Head of Customer Engagement Section at SIRIM QAS International, stated, “We selected PSA due to the significant number of motorcycle-using students. Our ‘Ada SIRIM, Baru Beli’ campaign highlights the critical role of quality, certified products in ensuring student safety.”

Zainah binti Rujihan, Director of PSA, expressed gratitude, saying, “We are thankful for SIRIM QAS International’s support, which not only addresses immediate needs but also raises awareness about student safety as road users. The helmets and meal vouchers are key to promoting responsible purchasing and enhancing student safety.”
