Sustainability stands as a paramount global challenge, and Malaysia is at the forefront, prioritizing green energy and eco-friendly buildings in its transformative industry policies.

Taiwan Excellence, celebrated for its Taiwanese innovation and manufacturing prowess, joins ARCHIDEX 2024 with the theme “Greener Together” as it focuses on building green solutions for a better tomorrow.

21 green products from 11 acclaimed companies forge sustainable collaboration between Taiwan and Malaysia

James Chang, Director of the Economic Division at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia, said Malaysia's thriving manufacturing sector plays a significant role in the country's GDP and export statistics. With numerous factories keen on enhancing energy efficiency, he expressed confidence in the potential for collaboration between Taiwanese and Malaysian industries to bolster a more sustainable green building ecosystem in Malaysia.

On the second day of the event, the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion will host a product-sharing session to showcase key products aimed at expanding green business opportunities. Featured products include the AMA TECH’s mobile tank fan that drastically improves indoor circulation.

Celestino Li, Ama Tech Sales Manager said, “AMA Tech’s Tank Fan is a big mobile floor fan that can be maneuvered to any place enhancing airflow and ventilation. The core technology of PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) ensures energy-efficient performance for great energy-saving at extremely low electricity bill costs.

There are also other products for you to take a look at such as PRISM ePaper from E INK Holdings which brings dynamic colour-changing options to building walls; SAUBERAIR Flat Picture Frame Air Purifier that features an advanced purification system wrapped in beautiful art and WATERSON’s robust 3-in-1 stainless steel closer hinges that have been tested to millions of operating cycles.

Simply Green, Pure Innovation

This year, the International Trade Administration and TAITRA have introduced an innovative pavilion design inspired by Taiwan's mountainous and forested landscapes. Embracing the principles of Recycle, Reuse, and Reduce, the organizers have creatively utilised recyclable materials like aluminum extrusions and mesh canvas in their booth design. This approach significantly reduces waste production while maintaining aesthetic appeal. Additionally, the incorporation of PRISM ePaper technology in the design allows for dynamic displays of logos and visuals, enhancing the attractiveness of the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion.

Other featured products include the ARCHIDEX Star Award winning e+AutOff’s stove safety device and MEDUSA’s waterproof additive for building coating; as well as UV coating additive from Eversorb; infinitely attachable roller screen from HISS; Vivi Air Circulator from ALASKA; smart mesh routers from D-Link; and stainless-steel toothbrush rack from FECA.

Ecological Mural Bridges a Sustainable Tomorrow

In line with its green initiatives, the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion featured a mural presentation by renowned Malaysian artist Kenji Chai, known for his nature-themed artwork. Located at SMK SS17 in Subang, the two-story tall mural depicts the Malayan tiger alongside the Taiwan Excellence mascot bear, aiming to raise awareness about environmental conservation. This artistic masterpiece underscores Taiwan Excellence's commitment to environmental protection and its vision for sustainable development between Taiwan and Malaysia.

The ARCHIDEX, Southeast Asia’s largest and most influential building materials exhibition, will take place from July 3rd to 6th, 2024 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. The Taiwan Excellence Pavilion can be found in Hall 2, Booth 2L180.
