Kuala Lumpur, 26th September 2023 – In a remarkable partnership that blends culinary innovation with an iconic Malaysian intellectual property, ZING Eat Sdn. Bhd. and Les’ Copaque Productions have signed a term sheet as a momentous first step toward collaboration on a range of exciting "Upin & Ipin" virtual dining brands. 

ZING Eat Sdn. Bhd. (“ZING”) is a Food and Technology Company, dedicated to revolutionizing the culinary landscape through innovative solutions and technology-driven experiences. As a trailblazer in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry, ZING is at the forefront of utilizing Generative-AI to transform the way F&B brands operate and engage with their customers.

Through their iconic creations, Les’ Copaque has earned a reputation for crafting endearing characters that not only entertain but also impart meaningful life lessons.

The ‘Upin & Ipin’ virtual brands will find their home in 11 ZING Food Hubs - online and offline fulfillment centers that are strategically located across the Klang Valley. Customers will have access to the virtual brands via ZING’s partnered 3rd Party Delivery platforms - GrabFood, foodpanda, and ShopeeFood. Additionally, as ZING offers catering services for existing brand partners, a customized and branded ‘Upin & Ipin’ catering service is also in the works with the aim of delivering a bespoke brand experience to customers regardless of location.

This exciting venture sets a new standard for the intersection of food and entertainment, creating another avenue for families, foodies, and fans to indulge in quality cuisine while soaking in the charm of the Upin & Ipin universe. Furthermore, with ZING’s plans to expand into foreign markets, these ‘Upin & Ipin’ virtual brands stand to be introduced in Singapore, Indonesia, and other regions in the future.
