The rebranding is in line with the company’s plan of diversifying its suite of services to include a strategic human resource management system that includes analytics, insights and continuous performance feedback for blue collar employees.
Alongside this diversification, Collarwork.io also intends to penetrate the human resource industry in Singapore and Australia, after a significant growth in Malaysia.
HAUZ, a homegrown Malaysian employee productivity app, is thrilled to announce its official rebrand to Collarwork.io, as it introduces a new line-up of human resource services targeting professional development. A strategic move to better convey its services to clients and users, this transformation marks a significant step forward for the company as it continues to serve the Malaysian market and its entry into Singapore and Australia.
The rebranding to Collarwork.io signifies a new chapter in the company's journey, reflecting its commitment to innovation, user-focused solutions, and its continued dedication to empowering businesses in Malaysia and beyond.
Launched in 2019, HAUZ has been a pioneer in workforce management with a mission to empower service industry, particularly in manpower-intensive segments such as Security Services, Facilities Management, Cleaning and Construction. Collarwork.io aims to carry on the same mission forward but with a redefined outlook on the employment landscape in both Malaysia and the Asia Pacific. The innovative, user-centric solutions have been the core of the platform’s operations that have helped 15,000 employees bolster their position in their workplace.
Shah Fariq Aizal Sha Ghazni, COO and Co-Founder of Collarwork.io, expressed his excitement, stating, "We are delighted to share the news of HAUZ's rebranding as Collarwork.io today. This has been under wraps for many months as we meticulously built the foundation of our new brand. The company will retain its focus on enterprises of all scales offering comprehensive workforce and operations management for deskless workforce which is also known as blue collar workforce."
Over the past 36 months, the platform and its services have grown from a simple app for managing blue-collar workforce daily activities to a feature-rich employee productivity app trusted by over 15,000 monthly active users in various service sectors. In an exciting development, Collarwork.io is introducing a third-party vendor performance management solution as part of its suite of services. Functioning as a strategic human resource management system, their latest platform focuses on the evaluation and assessment aspect of performance management, and utilising its data-driven nature in enhancing individual and organisational performance.
In line with its rebrand, Collarwork.io will also be expanding to enter the human resource industry in Singapore and Australia, after a significant growth in Malaysia. This expansion comes after four years of adding value and providing data-based solutions to local service sector businesses. Taking their first steps across the causeway, Singapore, with its proximity to Collarwork.io’s home market, will serve as the base for one phase international expansion. Entry into the Australian market has also begun, with the use of popular software review platforms like G2.com and Capterra to test the market, the better to reach a wider audience and reach out to early adopters from multiple industries.
Collarwork.io enterprise solution applies to commercial or residential property management that wants to manage and monitor all their subscribed vendors' productivity in that premise. Instead of having multiple software to monitor each individual vendor tasks, now they are able to do it all with Collarwork.io.
Another advantage of having this enterprise solution is that it gives opportunity to property management to choose Collarwork.io clients as part of their vendor selection and this helps SMEs in the service sector to be shortlisted from well-known property management.
The company is proud to be an alumnus of the Malaysian Research Accelerator for Technology and Innovation (MRANTI) Global Accelerator Program (GAP) Cohort 4 in 2020. This program has played a pivotal role in preparing Collarwork.io to lead Malaysia's digitization efforts, offering specialised curriculum and access to an extensive network of partners and mentors.
“We’re thrilled to be an alumni of MRANTI GAP. It represents a significant milestone in our journey towards innovation and growth. Being a part of the programme was a turning point for us as more organisations started to take notice of our value,” Shah Fariq added.
From there, the organisation has secured the CIP300 Grant from Cradle Fund in 2020, investment from Scaleup Malaysia and Quest Ventures Singapore in 2021 and was further recognised as the 2022 winner of the MRANTI Innovation Challenge. The company is now actively fundraising USD$500,000 for their pre-seed round in time for their international expansion plan.
