In conjunction with its one-year anniversary, MASVERSE, the long-awaited Web 3.0 Hub, finally celebrated its grand opening. Located in the heart of Auto-City in Northern Malaysia with the concept of Web 3.0 interactive ecology. The company’s newly published Web 3.0 Guidebook was also unveiled during the opening ceremony, making it a significant event of double celebration this year!
The establishment of the Web 3.0 Hub aims to bring together individuals and teams who are passionate about exploring the possibilities of blockchain technology and Web 3.0 applications that combines collaboration, innovation, and turning all ideas into reality. The 5,500 square feet building is divided into seven zones: Web 3.0 Interactive Gallery, Interactive Corner, Merchandise Corner, Working Space, Masverse Café, Conference Room, and Lounge. It offers a range of amenities and resources to support local and international Web 3.0 practitioners and communities in their work and knowledge sharing, aiding them in achieving their desired outcomes.
The newly printed and meticulously designed Web 3.0 Guidebook, with its concise and insightful 34-page chapters, takes readers on a journey from exploring the untapped potential of Web 3.0 technology to delving into its profound impact on various fields. It immerses readers in a blockchain world filled with possibilities, offering enlightening and disruptive knowledge to navigate boldly in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
We are honoured to have various authoritative figures from domestic industries, including State Education Department, as well as senior executives and representatives from domestic and international Web 3.0 stakeholders, VC firms, and partners, such as First Solar Malaysia Sdn Bhd Vice President Dato’ P’ng Soo Hong. They have come together to participate in the opening ribbon-cutting ceremony and witness this auspicious moment.
Among them, Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Halimah Badioze Zaman, Independent Non-Executive Director of the Board of Directors of MDEC, specially presided over the unveiling ceremony of the Web 3.0 Guidebook, adding more colour to the occasion and leaving a significant mark on MASVERSE’s historical stage.
During the event, apart from the MOU signing ceremony with several newly partnered organisations, including UKISS Technology and SINISANA Technologies, MASVERSE presented a Commemorative Certificate of Collaboration to Peninsula Higher Education, and also introduced the MyEduID system to the guests. This innovative solution, developed by MASVERSE using blockchain technology, manages and verifies educational certifications.
