KERTIH, 10 May 2023 – Koperasi Kakitangan PETRONAS Berhad (KOPETRO) celebrates this year’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri at Kelab Golf dan Rekreasi PETRONAS yesterday with the theme ‘Raya Bersama’. The opening of this year’s Majlis Aidilfitri is to celebrate and bring together KOPETRO members and representatives from Kertih.
KOPETRO Chairman, Roslan Abdul Rahim said the main purpose of the Majlis Aidilfitri is to strengthen the community and togetherness amongst cooperation management with members of KOPETRO in Kertih while enlivening the spirit of Aidilfitri celebration this year.
“With this year's theme of ‘Raya Bersama’, KOPETRO aims to embed the community spirit by welcoming equality, celebrating diversity and appreciating the difference amongst us.” said KOPETRO Chairman during the celebration ceremony.
Furthermore, by having programs as such is one of the many ways for the management to attract more PETRONAS personnel to register and become a member of KOPETRO.
Majlis Aidilfitri KOPETRO in Kertih is held from 12 noon until 4 pm, and was attended by more than 300 guests which consist of KOPETRO members and business partners. Guests were served with various Aidilfitri festive dishes and local menu such as Nasi Impit, Lemang, Rendang Ayam, and Nasi Hujan Panas with Ayam Masak Merah.
Majlis Aidilfitri KOPETRO will also be held in other location which is in Kuala Lumpur, this 11 May 2023, besides that in Bangi, Selangor, the celebration of Hari Raya will be in conjunction with the launch of the second branch of shariah compliance pawning service, ArRahnuKita, on 12 May 2023 and Melaka on 16 May 2023.
