Amidst the escalation of political tensions and uncertainties over advanced semiconductor technologies, Mavek and SAP are jointly hosting a series of webinars with global top-tier experts to provide insights to semiconductor leaders in the APAC region.
The 4-part seminar series, titled “The Global Semiconductor Chip Wars & Implications” (registration link at www.mavekinc.com/rsvp), will start on February 28th, providing insights into the future of the semiconductor industry as well as key strategies and countermeasures to get ahead of the competition during the global chip war and supply chain relocations.
Topics are sorted as follows: 1. “US CHIPS & Science Act Overview and Responses from Key Countries” (Feb. 28th), 2. “China’s Semiconductor Strategies and Responses to the US” (Mar. 28th), 3. “Stances and Prospective Actions on the Global Chip War—Japan, Netherlands, Taiwan, and Korea” (Apr. 25th), 4. “Strategies for Developments in ASEAN Semiconductor Industries” (May 30th).
The first webinar features keynote speakers such as Clyde Prestowitz (President of the Economist Strategy Institute), Paula Stern Ph.D. (former US International Trade Commission Chairwoman), Jue Wang Ph.D. (Semiconductor Leader at Bain & Company), Mike Pegler (Lead Client Partner at PwC), Christie Simons (Partner & Global Semiconductor Leader at Deloitte), and James Khoo (Partner at Mavek).
Notably, keynote speaker Clyde Prestowitz has served as an advisor to Presidents Reagan, George HW Bush, Clinton, and Obama. Mr. Prestowitz headed negotiations with Japan, S. He also was on the Board of Advisors to the Export/Import Bank.
According to Managing Partner of Mavek, Roy Smith “We are in turbulent times with advanced semiconductor technologies at the forefront of the demand for the world’s superpowers. We’ve invited only the best experts to help semiconductors leaders receive insight on how to best tread the waters going forward.”
