Putrajaya – IOI City Mall has recently introduced the automated License Plate Recognition (LPR) system for its car parking at all levels. The system allows shoppers to drive through upon entry and exit the parking without the issuance of printed parking tickets; as it will capture vehicle plate numbers using the LPR camera installed at the parking entry and exit points.
This initiative is aligned with IOI Properties Group’s urban green sustainability strategic framework in developing a sustainable community by investing in digital transformation. It enables the mall to convert to ticketless parking which minimizes touch points as well as encourages cashless payments and smart billing via e-receipts by payment service providers. Payment can be made via cash, debit card, credit card, TNG card or e-wallet, mobile payment (FPX) and major online payment platforms such as GrabPay, Boost and ShopeePay to name a few. It also assists in stolen vehicle detection as safety and security enhancement features.
To further enhance shopper experience on the new LPR system, CLUB IOI members are also able to utilize their CLUB IOI points to make payment via four(4) easy steps in the CLUB IOI app.

➢ STEP 2: Tap on the parking icon
➢ STEP 3: Enter car plate number
➢ STEP 4: Confirm and pay
Apart from CLUB IOI points, members are able to make payments via debit cards, credit cards and e-wallets; applicable for payments at kiosks too. Members will enjoy RM1 discount for normal parking and RM5 discount for premier parking from the standard parking rates. Their CLUB IOI points will be automatically deducted from the account upon payment confirmation. Shop, earn points and be rewarded with CLUB IOI!
