University Book Store Malaysia (UBSM) will be organising an international online digital conference entitled: Digital Education Odyssey 2.0: Crossing Dimensions 2021 on 28 and 29 July 2021. This conference is supported by The Ministry of Education Malaysia, Cambridge Assessment International Education, Lenovo and Google for Education.

The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit the country since 2020 has fuelled the demand for digital products, services and support for online teaching and learning. Hence, this situation has led to the need for organising the international online conference Digital Education Odyssey 2.0: Crossing Dimensions 2021. This 2021 conference is meant to be a journey through the twists and turns of ICT with introductions to platforms, databases, hardware, digitisation of teaching and learning, and assessment, enhancement of professionalism as well as the sharing of experiences and learnings encountered during the Covid-19 outbreak.

Crossing Dimensions” was selected as the theme for this conference as it would enable administrators, managers and educators of educational institutions to explore the skills of using digital technology to manage, educate, develop self -professionalism, communicate and collaborate. It would also allow students to develop self -learning skills through the digitisation of education.

The Digital Education Odyssey 2.0: Crossing Dimensions 2021 would also serve as an enabling platform for both educators and students to remain relevant and effective in an era where teaching and learning needs to move away from the “within the four walls of the classroom” concept.
