Klang, 23 April 2021 - In conjunction with the glorious Ramadan, Gamalux Oils celebrated 60 orphanages from Rumah Anak Yatim & Asnaf Kg Sijangkang for "Iftar Kasih" on 23 April 2021.

Gamalux Oils Sdn Bhd Managing Director, Mr. Usman Ahmed said the Iftar Kasih was held especially for the less fortunate to experience Ramadan this time. Gamalux Oils Sdn Bhd is engaged in sustainable palm waste products whereby the company always striving to contribute to mother nature positively in whatever possible means which is in line with the company’s vision.

The “Iftar Kasih” program is part of the corporate social responsibility program (CSR) which was held by the company to help the less fortunate. In this program, the orphanage also receives Duit Raya from Mr. Usman Ahmed. The program started with the breaking of fast at McDonald’s Canary Garden, Bandar Bestari along with Gamalux Oils staff.

Mr. Usman Ahmed said "This year Gamalux Oils Sdn Bhd is continuing its tradition to help the less fortunate. We wanted to ensure that these special children have the opportunity to celebrate Ramadan like others. I would like to emphasize that Gamalux Oils not only focuses on sustainable Palm Oil business but our organization is concerned about the welfare of our community as well. "

"Gamalux Oils is always concerned with the fate of the needy. Hopefully, this small contribution by the company will bring much joy and cheer to these orphanages to celebrate Ramadan," he added.

The excitement and joy of these orphanages were also widely felt by all the guests who were present at McDonald’s Canary Garden.
