Jenexus Holdings Sdn Bhd started with humble beginnings when a few partners joined forces with the mission of providing customised multiwide area network (WAN) connectivity solution to clients.
This marked the birth of First Click Sdn. Bhd in 2007, before the eventual incorporation of holding company Jenexus a decade later.
Its Managing Director Desmond Hoo said that the company’s emphasis on WAN stemmed from Jenexus’ expertise in creating multi-WAN structures with one-stop managed internet services that are able to create unbreakable connectivity.
“Larger enterprises tend to implement multi-WAN connectivity to enable the exchange of data among various operational sites. That way, if one system goes down, the other sites would still operate,” said Hoo.
“Jenexus is good at designing multi-WAN solutions customised to our clients’ needs while optimising their operations,” he added.
Today, the company’s customers comprise both large enterprises as well as small and medium enterprises (SMEs) spanning various industries such as manufacturing, shipping and oil and gas.
“Our expert group of IT technicians have successfully assessed and analysed our clients’ unique characteristics and needs when mapping the network, factoring in important aspects such as security architecture, the number of sites required, together with what the infrastructure should entail,” said Business Operation Director Lai Tong Lek.
“The Jenexus team then would move onsite to install customised WAN connectivity, while constantly monitoring that peak performance is ensured coupled with security to ensure optimal infrastructure management services,” added Lai.
The company has been recognised by MCMC as a full license service provider in Malaysia (ASP,NSP, NFP) and is well known within industry as a leading managed internet service provider in Malaysia.
Lai said that his choice of products and solutions are provided by Peplink International Ltd. of the United States.
Peplink is a world renowned brand of wireless devices. The company offers enterprise router, Wi-Fi, SMB networking, cloud-based central controller, and other related services, as well as network solutions.
“Peplink has become synonymous with ‘unbreakable connectivity’,” said Lai, adding that Peplink “indeed pushes the boundaries of what is possible”.
Today, Peplink has over 70+ granted patents regarding its SpeedFusion SD-WAN technology.
The Peplink's SpeedFusion SD-WAN routers, in turn, have been deployed by numerous organisations worldwide, helping thousands of customers from varied industries to increase bandwidth, enhance Internet reliability, and reduce costs.
“The winning formula that Peplink has is that, its complete product line includes models for business of all sizes, and provides an award winning Internet experience for our clients,” said Lai.
“It’s a formula that has also contributed to Jenexus’ growth, and we look forward to our continuous partnership with Peplink.”
Meanwhile, Fortesys Distribution Sdn Bhd Regional Sales Director Kevin Kuak said that, with the impending arrival of 5G to Malaysia, there is bound to be greater demand for Peplink’s range of products.
