After using The Petal Search engine for about a week, my user experience can be summed up in 3 words, “innovative, powerful, brilliant”. As a snapshot, this app functions as a general search engine providing results for regular queries alongside news, images, and videos. The search results are presented in information boxes, rather than huge blocks of text, so first-time users, like me, can effortlessly navigate through salient information!

Highlight #1: Petal Search as search engine, search Apps, and daily information

With the information we need at the touch of the Petal Search app, the interface provides bite-sized daily news that can be easily digested as I scroll down.

As shown in the picture, what I like about Petal Search is that it first captures my attention with pictures, rather than just lengthy texts in comparison to other search engines.

Another feature that I like is that the search bar is at the bottom of the screen. It may seem simple but by moving the search bar down, it is easier to reach with one hand and also clears up space, and allows me to focus more on the webpage's content.

As this wasn’t enough, I found out that the Petal Search supports voice searches in multiple languages. As I speak 4 languages myself, I did a little experiment by simply using the voice search tool, and to my surprise, the Petal Search is able to identify the languages and come up with accurate searches.

Overall, as a person who prefers visuals over bulky texts, this makes my user experience really satisfying!

Highlight #2: Petal Search Nearby

Besides the general search feature, Petal Search also allows me to connect with local services instantly through the 'Nearby' feature. The ‘Nearby’ feature automatically gathers services and the latest happenings in my vicinity.

For a person who is always struggling to look for places to eat, the Petal Search is truly a lifesaver. My problem is solved by simply clicking into the Nearby ‘Restaurants’ category. Within seconds, the Petal Search will show a list of nearby eateries, including their distances, ratings, the average price per person, reviews, etc.

Not only that, 'Nearby' aggregates close to 20 categories of local lifestyle services into the app, providing users, like me, with quick convenience of connecting to restaurants, properties, landmarks, attractions, events, and more with a single tap.

Props to Petal Search Nearby, the shopaholic inside me is beyond excited!

#Highlight 3: Petal Search Newsfeed

As a person who is constantly on the hunt for the latest news, I find Petal Search Newsfeed a good new addition to my existing news sources.

Petal Search Newsfeed has a multitude of news sources separated into different categories, namely sports, entertainment, business, health, world, gaming, tech, food, and fashion. Above it all, I can also customize my feed based on my preference.

Happy reading to all avid readers out there!

Final thoughts…

All in all, I will rate a pretty high score for the Petal Search app, with the above point scored in individual breakdowns.

Now moving on to the most important question -

Would I recommend a friend to download this search engine?

Been there, done that.
